OUR VISION is to improve the health and quality of life of people in Colorado and around the world by creating the definitive biobank that will facilitate research toward early detection, improved diagnosis, and optimized treatment of disease to enhance wellness.
THE GOAL of the Colorado Longitudinal Study (COLS) is to create the largest scale, longitudinal biobank in the world. It will consist of blood and urine samples, collected annually for ten years, from one million Coloradans. These samples and corresponding electronic health records and surveys will capture participants’ health-related behaviors, social determinants of health, and health outcomes. Our goal is only attainable by tracking a large cohort of people as they experience wellness and disease over time.
THE VALUE for multiple stakeholders:
Send us an email about your interest in COLS. Our team will be scheduling meetings throughout the summer and fall of 2016 to explore potential partnerships. Please note, due to the high volume of interest, we will not be able to accommodate every request, but we will respond to your email promptly.
