Dr. Coors is Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry. Her teaching and scholarship focus on advances in genetics and the implications for what it means to provide health care in the age of genetic medicine. Research interests pursued by Dr. Coors include the ethics of human genetic modification and the use of genetic information in common complex genetic disorders with a focus on behavioral genetics and neuroscience.
Dr. Coors holds a Ph.D. in ethics from the University of Denver, Colorado. She is an Associate Professor of bioethics and genetics in the Department of Psychiatry.
