Tony Marion is a professor in the department of microbiology, immunology, and biochemistry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He received a Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham followed by postdoctoral training in immunology at Yale Medical School. His research interests include autoantibodies and disease pathogenesis in systemic lupus erythematosus, hepatitis C, and disease biomarkers in respiratory influenza.
