Jay Wohlgemuth, M.D.

Dr. Wohlgemuth is Vice President of Science & Innovation of the Quest Diagnostics Nichols Institute in San Juan Capistrano, CA. Dr. Wohlgemuth joined Quest Diagnostics in 2009 from Genentech where he was Director, Clinical Diagnostics, ITGR (Immunology, Tissue Growth and Repair). He also served as Vice President, Research and Development at VIA Pharmaceuticals, and as Chief Medical Officer for the molecular diagnostics company XDx. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Harvard College and a medical degree from Stanford Medical School, where he also served a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine.
