Stanley Feld is the founding partner of Endocrine Associates of Dallas, P.A. and former clinical associate professor of medicine at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Feld is the past president of the American College of Endocrinology, as well as past president of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
Dr. Feld served as chairman of the first six thyroid awareness months for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist (AACE) as well as the chairman of two Patient First campaign which increased awareness for intensive treatment of diabetes.
He has authored treatment guidelines for Diabetes mellitus and Thyroid disease.
Active in several professional organizations he has served on numerous governing boards and committees since the AACE’s inception in 1990.
His has also been past president of the North Texas affiliate of the American Diabetes Association.
He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a master of the American College of Endocrinology.
He has served on the Texas area Osteoporosis Board and the Texas Institute for Health Policy Research.
Dr. Feld is author of blog: Repairing the healthcare system http://stan.feld.com since 2006. The blog is an in-depth commentary on the problems with the healthcare system and methods to repair it.
Dr. Feld is Cum Laude graduate from the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, He completed a clinical and research endocrinology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Feld is board certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and metabolism.
